- Winter Solstice Celebrations
- From 2004 - 2015 Susan and Keith (in charge of roasted chestnuts and the open fire) held an annual musical Winter Solstice, with performances of the complete cycle of 6 accompanied violin sonatas by Bach. Pianists included Paul Kilburn, Catherine McGuire. Thanks to "the admission fee " of non perishable items, guests, friends and students of Creative Strings donated the to Toronto food bank over the years. Sadly, many valued participants have since departed, but we have great memories.
- October 2013. Fundraising concert for 11 Division Community Police Liaison Committee. This classical concert on Music and Youth featured works by Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Franck, Ravel and Gluck. Almost $500 was raised towards the 2014 Scadding Court Community Safety Scholarship.
